Two Kwara State University students found dead and naked in hostel

A male and female student of the Kwara State University, Malete KWASU, were confirmed dead and naked in one of their hostel room.

The students, identified as Tobiloba Daniel (male) and Arewa Abayomi were said to be 200 Level students of the aforementioned institution.

The supposed lovers were found dead and naked in Daniel’s hostel room outside of the school campus.

A student of KWASU, confirming the incident, claimed that the lovers’ death might be a case of poisoning. However, many suggested that it might be that of sex-enhancing supplements taken by the lovers, leading to their death.

The student said;

 “We suspect they were lovers and became concerned when they were not seen during an examination and for three days.

“It was when some of their friends got to their hostel room outside the school that they found them dead and naked. We suspect it’s a case of poisoning.”

While the spokesperson of KWASU, Hajia Saeedat Aliyu, said there was no official communication on the matter,  police spokesman in the state, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, confirmed the incident.

Okasanmi added;

“The information is that the two of them were found dead inside their room and the police were alerted.

“Our officers pulled down the door and they were taken to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) for autopsy. Investigation into the matter is ongoing.”
