The transfer window is something that has given a number of Chelsea fan a cause to worry about even though they are optimistic on signings being made.

Chelsea no longer has any issues regarding transfers or club related matters, as Roman Abramovich has successful handed reigns over to new owner, Todd Boehly and a Conglomerate of other American Shareholders.

In respect to that, Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has reportedly informed the club’s new owner, Todd Boehly, to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Presnel Kimpembe in the summer transfer window, ahead of the Pre-season.

The Blues boss is said to be keen on bolstering his defensive position as he looks to replace the departing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.

Chelsea’s top target was believed to be Jules Kounde, the Sevilla star, with recent reports having claimed personal terms being signed in agreement with the player but the Blues holding out on an agreed fee with Sevilla.

According to The Sun, Tuchel has instead asked Boehly to shift focus towards signing the very impressive Kimpembe.

When Tuchel left PSG 18 months ago, Kimpembe was disappointed to see the German leave after he had helped the club to win two Ligue 1 titles and a Champions League final finish.

Considering PSG are a money club themselves, it could prove difficult for Chelsea to get the Paris club to sell Kimpembe this summer if he is still considered valuable.
