Trump defies death again after latest assassination attempt

The latest assassination attempt on Donald Trump is starting to look like a rinse and repeat situation on the Republican Candidate.

The Former U.S. President faced another assassination attempt on September 15, 2024, while at his West Palm Beach golf club in Florida. A gunman with an AK-47 was spotted by Secret Service agents near the property line.

The suspect was apprehended after fleeing the scene, but Trump, who was just 300-500 yards away, remained unharmed. This follows an earlier attempt on his life just two months ago. Despite the threats, Trump vows to continue his campaign, undeterred by political violence.

The FBI has launched an investigation, labeling the incident an assassination attempt, intensifying concerns over Trump’s safety on the campaign trail. Security measures, while robust, are notably lighter since Trump is no longer the sitting president. This attack mirrors a similar event in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Trump survived a gunshot wound to his ear at a rally.

As Trump vows “never to surrender,” this latest close call underscores both his resilience and the increasing dangers of modern political campaigning.

The report identifies 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh as the suspect who is believed to be a Pro-Ukrainian activist. Routh was arrested 38 miles away after fleeing the scene.
