Transfer News: Pep Eyes Griezmann As Atletico Try To Lure Aguero

Spanish giants, Atletico Madrid have reportedly contacted Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero over a return to LaLiga this summer.

The Sun reports that Atletico are keen to partnering the Argentine international with Diego Costa and have contacted the forward’s representatives over a summer transfer.

City boss, Pep Guardiola is keen to keep Aguero, but his interest in Atletico’s Antoine Griezmann, who has a buy-out clause of £88million could pave the way for a deal, a fee City reportedly considers a bargain for a player of his quality.

Aguero netted 100 goals in 230 appearances for the LaLiga club before City signed him for £38million in 2011.

Griezmann was heavily linked with a move to City’s rivals Manchester United over the summer before he penned a new deal in Spain.
