What would you love to be remembered for?

I would love to be remembered for being a beacon of joy, hope and healing, alleviating pain, dispensing love, and joy to the world. I am primarily an encourager and I would love anyone who encounters me to experience joy, God’s love, and be truly encouraged irrespective of what they have been through in life.

Tell us how you started out and how you got to where you are today?

I grew up in a Christian home with Firebrand parents and that was the foundation that really helped me till date through life and its challenges but a few years ago, I met my mentor, Debola Deji Kurunmi who is a literal fire and catalyst through her company,  IMMERSE Coaching company. Meeting DDK as we fondly call her has changed the course of my life because she literally elevated my life with wisdom through transformational coaching and gave me new eyes to see what’s possible for me in the world.

What time do wake up, and what time do you like to be at your desk?

I wake up at 6 am and I like to be at my desk at 9 am.

A brief rundown of your daily routine?

Wake up, Meditate, Pray, Journal, bath, cook, get to work, and catch up with family

Tell us about your new book?

It’s titled “Purposeful Pain” and it’s a masterpiece of hope, a source of divine strength, and a teaching tool to rise in the midst of pain, find healing, purpose, and intimacy with God using my own personal story of pain. Amongst other things, I shared vulnerably about how I lost my set of twin boys and how God brought me through that phase of my life and healed me.

What is the best business advice you received during the time of your pain?

Maybe because my pain as at then was peculiar and I was in a sensitive situation, I really did not get people who came around me to give me business advice. I just knew one day I would share my story with the world. I believed the pain was not a waste.

What conventional parenting advice do you disagree with?

I disagree with the fact that you should not apologize to or be vulnerable to your kids. I particularly believe that vulnerability is a gift that produces strength and gratitude in whoever it is shared with and whoever is giving it. It would be a disservice to your kids to withhold such a precious gift from them

If you had to start all over again, what would you do differently?

I would invest in discovering and putting to use my purpose, gifts, and talents earlier in life

What advice do you have for grieving mothers?

Wow, I have a lot to say to them which is why I wrote Purposeful Pain but anyways, I will say a few things here.

The dear grieving mother, I am sending you a big hug from here. I want you to know that you are not alone. Your feelings are valid. Feel them but don’t let them stay. Take your time to heal but find the truth. It is the truth that ultimately heals. The energy you feel now is a force that can be used in your favor. Don’t waste it. Please, don’t make a belief system out of your grief because there is still beauty in the world for you. There is purpose out of your pain and beauty out of these ashes. Everything is working together for your good. Be encouraged. I love you.

Who has had the greatest impact on you and why?

I would say my parents- Pastor Sola and Mercy Ayelaagbe as well as my mentor and coach, Debola Deji-Kurunmi. My parents are my first examples of what it means to follow God. This gave me the foundation for life and rich spiritual heritage. My mentor is the definition of a multi-dimensional woman. She blows my mind every day with the different expressions in her life. I see her and I see what is possible for me in the world.

What achievement are you most proud of?

I am super proud of my recently launched book, Purposeful Pain, and the work that I do with helping women heal from pain and find joy again. We had Healing Hangout, the second edition earlier in the year for women dealing with loss, hurts, pain, or doing through a dark season and it was breathtakingly beautiful. So many women found joy and healing from that meeting and God gets all the glory. We also got to unveil Project Hope which is a mission to help women heal and find joy again in their lives. I am also super proud of my salvation. It’s very fulfilling to discover God’s immeasurable love for me and to know that I am going to spend eternity with Him.

Aside from God, what do you consider your greatest success secret?

My greatest success secret is Accountability. I am per time accountable to a coach or mentor or visionary about what I do or want to achieve.

What advice do you have for anyone seeking to publish a book?

For anyone seeking to publish a book, I would say start now and focus on progress, not perfection. For example, Don’t seek to write 10 chapters in 3 days rather, seek to write 1 paragraph every day for the next month.

What are you currently reading, watching, or listening to?

Reading Believe Bigger by Marshawn Evans, watching and listening to video and audio courses respectively by my mentor, Debola Deji-Kurunmi.

What’s your favorite social media platform, handle, and why?

I love Instagram. I follow people that inspire me so much so I get to learn both the said and unsaid from their posts. It’s also easy to navigate and it’s progressive. There is always something new to try out.

How do you unwind?

I watch comedy and laugh hard.
