Kogi Assembly calls for immediate removal of EFCC chairman
The Kogi State Assembly has called for the removal of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) chairman.
The MPs stated that there were assassination attempts against the state’s former governor, Yahaya Bello, which they regard as a threat to the current governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo. Read more here.
FEC approves 14 flood-affected road projects across Nigeria
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved the construction of 14 flood-affected roads and bridges in Ekiti, Adamawa, Kebbi, and Enugu states.

X new feature allows blocked users to view posts of blockers
X, formerly known as Twitter, is significantly changing its blocking feature.
According to owner Elon Musk, blocked users will now be able to see the posts of blocked accounts, although they still won’t be able to interact with those accounts. Read more here.
Access Bank sued for N100M over alleged unlawful deductions
A legal practitioner, Junaid Sanusi, has sued Access Bank Plc for N100 million, alleging unlawful deductions from his savings account.
The case was heard at the Federal High Court in Ibadan on Monday, where Sanusi argued that the bank had been deducting more than the N50 electronic levy mandated by the Finance Act, 2019. Read more here.
