Top Lagos school MIMS successfully defends academic trophy

MIMS Comprehensive College (MCC) has once again demonstrated its academic excellence by successfully defending its title at the League of Muslim Schools Proprietors (LEAMSP) Shomolu Zonal Quiz Competition.

This update was revealed in a recent statement. This remarkable achievement marks a streak of victories for MCC since the competition’s inception in the Shomolu zone of LEAMSP. The quintessential champions, Hajarah Bello and Fatimah Adelopo, defended the trophy elegantly.

MIMS’ unrivalled performance

The college’s dominance in the competition was evident as they defeated all participating colleges to emerge victorious. This win is a testament to the students’ hard work, dedication, and academic prowess. Their unrivalled performance is a reflection of the college’s commitment to academic excellence.

Double celebration for MIMS

In a similar vein, MIMS Nursery and Primary School made a stellar performance, winning the primary category of the Zonal Quiz competition and securing a spot in the state finals. This impressive feat was achieved by AbdulRahman Ajayi and Ridwan Shoyiga. The duo outshone all other Primary schools in the Shomolu zone. The victory shows the well-rounded education system MIMS instills in students from the basic and elementary classes.

Education: State finals await

With this win, the primary school and college has earned a well-deserved place in the state finals, where they will compete against other top-performing schools from across Lagos. We wish them the best of luck as they prepare for this exciting challenge. The state finals will provide a platform for the students to showcase their academic skills and compete with the best in the state.

Hearty congratulations to the MIMS community

The entire MIMS community deserves congratulations for this outstanding achievement. The students, teachers, and staff have demonstrated exceptional academic excellence, and their hard work has paid off. We look forward to their continued success in the state finals and beyond.

In the institution’s 30 years of existence, MIMS has been instilling standard Western and Islamic education in students across annexes. The schools’ alumni hold sway in several industries both locally and internationally.

A call to continued excellence

The Board Chairman of MIMS Educational Resources Ltd, Prince Adesegun Ogungbayi, congratulated the students and staff on their victory. He emphasized that winning is an integral part of MIMS’ values and name, and therefore, it’s no surprise. He encouraged them not to relent in their pursuit of academic excellence until they conquer the world of academics.

“This is just the beginning. Our institution builds students with moral and academic pedigree who are able to confidently stand tall anywhere in the world” he added

A bright future ahead for MIMS students
