Toolz yanks husband’s surname off Instagram bio, shares strange post

Popular Nigerian media personality Toolz Oniru has got social media users talking after she removed her husband’s surname from her Twitter bio.

The assistant direcctor of programmes at BEAT FM changed her name on Instagram from “Toolz Oniru-Demuren” to just “TOOLZ”. She also shared a cryptic post that reads: “Those who fly solo have the strongest wings.”

Her actions led Nigerians to speculate about the state of her marriage. Though she’s dropped his name on Instagram, Toolz and Captain Tunde Demuren are still following each other on Instagram.
