Todd Boehly begs Hudson Odoi to remain at Chelsea

It could be a case of déjà vu for Callum Hudson Odoi at Chelsea all over again this season as Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly does not want the star leaving the club.

The American owner has no intentions letting the player to leave on a permanent basis according to reports and is only ready to let him leave on loan.

Reports on Hudson Odoi leaving the Blues comes in response to the player being marginalized by Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel as he only featured 15 times last season in the Premier League.

Callum Hudson Odoi is a product of the Chelsea youth academy and has so far featured for the club over 100 times despite being 21 years old.

This is the second time the player is being touted for a move from Stamford Bridge.

Years back, the star was a highly rated winger sort after by German champions, Bayern Munich only to see Odoi pen down a long term contract with Chelsea.

With the player missing out of Chelsea’s last 2 games, speculations about the player’s future has riled the social media space with speculations that Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United are after his signature.

According to the Evening Standard, Hudson-Odoi is only going to leave Chelsea on loan this summer after a private plea to the winger by Todd Boehly.

Chelsea will not entertain any options to buy but will be willing to assist in paying his wages worth a £150,000-a-week.
