Tite Slammed Over Political Decision That Cost Brazil

The Brazil camp isn’t where anyone would want to be now as emotions are running high over the South American team’s exit from the world cup tournament in their loss to Croatia, and for former Brazil international, Neto, Tite the Selecao coach is to blame for their elimination.

Neto criticized Tite for his choice of selection in the penalty shootout, slamming the decision to not let Neymar who he considers as the best penalty taker in the world not to be granted a chance at taking one.

As Brazil suffered a shocking loss to Croatia in the World Cup quarterfinal on Friday, the manager Tite came under fire for sparing the star player from Paris Saint-Germain to take the decisive kick.

After the 4-2 loss on penalties that ended all South American hopes of winning the World Cup this year, Tite has already resigned from his position as the team’s manager.

Brazil was widely predicted to win the championship in Qatar, but now it must wait another four years for the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

Both teams waited until extra time to score after the game ended 0-0 in regulation.

Neymar’s brilliant one-two with Paqueta, followed by a dance around Livakovic and a close-range shot, gave Brazil the lead early in extra time.

However, Croatia came back in the closing minutes, capping off a quick counterattack with Petkovic’s deflected goal, his team’s sole effort on goal.

Croatia defeated Brazil 4-2 in the shootout to win the game, which was decided by penalties after regulation.

“It’s Tite’s fault,” Neto said on ESPN. “Neymar failed to take the penalty! The greatest penalty taker in the world, you shameless man.

“You are the worst coach in the history of the country, of the Brazilian national team, a disgrace as a coach.”

The Brazil head coach has since resigned from the national team, minutes after Brazil’s elimination.
