Director of Special Operations and New Media of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Femi Fani-Kayode on Thursday said it is ‘delusional’ for Peter Obi, presidential flag-bearer of the Labour Party, to claim that he won the 2023 election.

Obi vowed to “prove” his purported triumph in court.

Obi stated that the election was a daylight robbery and would use all legitimate means, including the courts, to reclaim the mandate given to him and his running mate, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed.

He also berated the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting the worst elections in Nigeria’s history, which he said fall, even below the minimum standards.

Reacting, Femi Fani-Kayode, a top campaigner of Bola Tinubu, the APC candidate, wrote on his verified Twitter handle:

“Peter the Pooh says he won the election? Wonders never cease! Now I know where the Obidients get their mass delusion & hypnotic psychosis from. Can someone tell this poor, lost soul to stop shedding tears on national television. He can leave that to Datti the Daft: he is good at it”.
