President Bola Tinubu has appointed the father of popular media personality, Toke Makinwa.

Toke expressed delight following Tinubu’s appointment of her father, Chief Pius Akinyelure, as the chairperson of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

Taking to her Instagram, Makinwa shared a snapshot of her father alongside the president during a recent meeting, exclaiming, “Congratulations Daddy, I am so proud of you Papa! Chairman NNPC. All your years of service to the oil industry, from Mobil to this. The man for the Job. Very well deserved.”
