Timaya arrested for allegedly hospitalizing a lady in hit-and-run [Video]

Popular singer, Inetimi Timaya Odon, better known by his stage name Timaya has been arrested by the Nigerian Police following an alleged hit-and-run incident.

TopNaija recalls that in the early hours of Wednesday, Timaya was called out by a lady who acclaimed that the singer drove off after hitting her sister with his Vehicle.

According to the lady, instead of tendering an apology and taking her to the hospital for treatment, the singer went ahead to ask for her sister’s phone number and zoomed off.

She gave the sad news that her sister is receiving treatment in the hospital as she is in severe pain.

She also stated that she was blocked by Timaya when she took the step to message him on Instagram.

The victim’s sister said that several attempts to contact Timaya proved unfruitful, adding that he went ahead to block the lady on Instagram.

Making more of the situation, a video making the rounds on social media platforms shows some police officers arresting the singer and taking him away in a vehicle.
