Three Fulani Herdsmen remanded in Ibadan Prison over Colleague’s murder

The police have napped Ibrahim Tukur, 22; Ahmodu Riskuwa, 35, and Babuga Umaru, 30, over alleged murder conspiracy anunlawful possession of firearms.

 

Magistrate I. O. Osho ruled that the trio be remanded in Abolongo Correctional Centre, Oyo Town and had the police return case file to the Oyo State Director of Public Prosecutions.

 

The case is now adjourned until July 5, 2022.

 

Inspector Foluke Adedosu, who is the Prosecution Counsel, stated that Tukur, Riskuwa and Babuga shot their colleague, Tukur Ibrahim, on Monday, April 4, at about 10:45 p.m.

 

According to her, the incident happened at Lube village, Oyo state.

 

She revealed that the suspects were arrested with one locally made barrel gun and one live cartridge without justification.
