Thomas Partey picks up groin injury prior to Man United clash

Arsenal’s Thomas Partey set to miss the all important clash versus Manchester United at the Emirates today after the Midfielder was confirmed to have picked up a groin injury ahead of the Sunday clash.

The former Atletico Madrid star had started the season playing a key role for the Gunners, pivotal in Arsenal’s Community Shield triumph versus Manchester City prior to the start of the season, and also in the subsequent games on return to league action.

The confirmation was made ahead of the Manchester United clash, with the club confirming Thomas Partey to be out after releasing the team’s lineup an hour to the clash.

This sets the Gunners’ team back with the Mikel Arteta’s side setting up a midfield 3 of Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz.

Ben White returns to playing Right Back for the Gunners against Manchester United.
