"This won't happen again" -- Israel spokesman vows

Following huge criticisms over the attack on foreign aid workers in Gaza, Israel announced on Thursday its plans to revise tactics in the ongoing Gaza conflict.

Following the airstrike that killed seven aid workers in the crisis torn region, the Israel milutary takes full blame and confirms the actions to be a significant mistake on their part.

The findings of the inquiry into the incident are expected to be disclosed soon.

The incident on Monday, which claimed the lives of aid workers from various nationalities including Australian, British, Polish, and a U.S.-Canadian dual national, has intensified international criticism over the rising civilian casualties in Gaza.

According to the United Nations, at least 196 humanitarian workers have lost their lives in Gaza since October.

Israeli leaders expressed regret over what the military termed a “grave mistake,” attributing it to the misidentification of a convoy belonging to the World Central Kitchen (WCK) in a challenging combat environment during nighttime.

Jose Andres, the charity’s founder, asserted that the convoy was targeted despite Israel’s awareness of their movements.

Responding to inquiries during a media briefing, the Israel government spokesperson Raquela Karamson acknowledged that the incident was unintended, emphasizing that an investigation is underway to determine the cause and circumstances.

“Clearly something went wrong here, and as we learn more and the investigation reveals exactly what happened, and the cause of what happened, we will certainly adjust our practices in the future to make sure this does not happen again.”

Karamson assured that once the investigation concludes and findings are revealed, Israel will adjust its practices to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
