Thierry Henry backs Manchester City for Premier League title

Tension rises ahead of the last premier league match day as Arsenal and Manchester City take their title challenge to the last kick off of the 38th match week. While no one is certain how the tides will go to decide the eventual Champions of the English league, Thierry Henry is backing history to repeat itself again.

The former France and Arsenal striker is staying cautious as he believes the Premier League title is firmly in Manchester City’s hands. In a recent interview with the BBC, Henry praised Pep Guardiola’s squad, describing them as a special team that does not falter under pressure.

Currently, City sits two points ahead of Arsenal as the final day of fixtures approaches. A victory for the defending champions against West Ham at home will secure their fourth consecutive Premier League title.

“It’s in their hands and I know how I would have been,” Henry stated.

“I’ve seen them do it so many times, from the Sergio Aguero moment to their recent game against Tottenham. They don’t collapse, so it’s hard for me to imagine them doing so now. But, as a fan on the other side, you always hold onto the hope that anything can happen.”
