Thiago Silva’s wife angry with Chelsea

Thiago Silva has built himself quite the profile at Chelsea Football Club but that doesn’t mean Silva’s wife has to agree with everything the club does.

At a time when the squad is all angry about losing all 3 points in a dramatic derby against Tottenham last Sunday, Isabelle Silva has something else she hates the club for.

What Thiago Silva’s wife is picking issues with is the club’s recent stadium renovation that does little to show respect for her husband’s achievements with the club.

Stamford Bridge had quite the new renovation for the Blues in terms of new photos of players in a move to begin the Todd Boehly era, and in those photos stood absent Thiago Silva’s photos with the club.

The Brazilian ever since Tuchel took management of the club, has been a steady player in the team, marshaling the defence and helping the German and the Blues win its second Champions League title.

With the 37 year Old’s wife present at the Bridge to watch her husband and his team, she noticed and had to air her frustration on how Chelsea dishonored her husband.

She wrote on Twitter:

“Today I went to Stamford Bridge, and I noticed that the photos changed around the stadium. But I don’t see a photo of @tsilva3 anywhere. Why @ChelseaFC?”

Boehly-Clearlake consortium has made plans to freshen-up Stamford Bridge with updated signage along with a fresh look to the Nike Megastore, Chelsea Museum, the ticket office, and also improvements to the West Stand and Shed End.

The stand’s iconic ‘Chelsea FC’ logo is set to be updated with vertical banners showing every trophy the club has won throughout its history.

But Belle Silva while taking notice of the changes, wasn’t quite impressed with what she saw as she noticed the visible absence of her husband’s contributions to the club even when he is in his third season with Chelsea.

Silva lifted the Champions League in his first campaign and has since also won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

He has also helped the Blues reach 2 FA Cup finals and one League Cup final. In short, the Brazilian has helped Chelsea to more finals in his 3 years at the club to command respect.
