“They are not unknown gunmen”– Apostle Suleman blast Govt over Ondo killing
General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has chastised the Buhari administration for the carnage at the Catholic Church yesterday.
Unknown gunmen attacked the catholic church of Owo, a remote town in Ondo, in the early hours of Sunday, June 5, 2022, and shot the congregants at random, killing roughly 50 people.
In response to the tragedy, Apostle Johnson Suleman took to Twitter to criticize the government for failing to safeguard residents’ safety. The gunmen, according to Apostle Johnson, are not unknown as previously indicated.
He has warned churches, particularly large churches, to be vigilant and secure their buildings to avoid further incidents.
It’s only a clueless and useless govt that calls known gunmen unknown… history will never forgive privileged men who do nothing in the face of tyranny… my heart and prayers are with the families of those slain at the ‘owo massacre’… may their souls rest in peace..”
“all churches should beef up security especially mega-churches…god will not come down to do what you should do… this is evil and must be condemned by all and sundry…” He wrote.
