They Annoy Me—Roy Keane on Senegal Fans

Senegal fans have been criticized by Premier League legend Roy Keane for creating a lot of noise before their match against England.

After everything was said and done, England defeated Senegal 3-0 in the tournament’s round of 16 to go to the quarterfinals, and Keane might be wondering what all the fuss was about.

Late in the first half, England went ahead thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Jordan Henderson, and Bukayo Saka made sure the Three Lions won 3-0.

Before the game, supporters of the African champions created an incredible atmosphere inside the Al Bayt Stadium. Everyone could be seen having a great time, but Keane was not thrilled.

“Very annoying. It’s getting on my nerves,” After ITV host Mark Pougatch evaluated the crowd, Keane made a comment.

Pougatch got back at him, saying:

“It’s very lovely, Roy, it’s a World Cup…”

Roy Keane however maintained his earlier stand as he explained: “Oh, it is, it’s lovely – but it’s annoying.”
