"There is no need to panic" -- Declan Rice to Arsenal fans

“There are still many games to win the premier league”, Declan Rice assures the Arsenal fanbase after the 2-1 defeat to Fulham at Cravens Cottage.

Arsenal have their premier league title ambitions crushed following a 2-1 defeat away to Fulham, however Declan Rice still maintains confidence in the team despite the setback.

Post match, the England international and Arsenal midfield maestro told journalists;

“There’s no need to panic, there’s still so many games to go and we need to stay positive. This is not the time to be negative,”

The former West Ham United star went on to add;

“We’ve got a great manager, a great set of players and we will keep going.”

Arsenal have only ONE win in their last five Premier League games with the Gunners losing to
Aston Villa, West Ham United and Fulham with their only win against Brighton and playing out a draw against title rivals, Liverpool.

“Of course not. It’s not ideal when you want to be a top team, are striving to be a top team and want to be top players, you need to demand more from each other. We need to demand more from ourselves, push each other more when times are going tough.

“Times like now are times when we stick together. It’s been a great year for Arsenal all round and we go into the new year with positivity. We play Liverpool and try to bounce back in the FA Cup now.”

Right now, the North London side sit 1 point above Tottenham Hotspur in 4th place and below Manchester City who currently have a game in hand to further increase the gap between them and Arsenal to cement the second place spot.

From the looks of it, the premier league seems to be heading into 2024 with again another Liverpool and Manchester City title charge, with the likes of Aston Villa and Arsenal there on the corridors to take an advantage of any slip up from the two moving forward.

Tottenham Hotspur will not be far from chasing for 4th place following their 3-1 win against AFC Bournemouth on Sunday.
