"There is a chance Klopp will regret it" -- Arsene Wenger

If there is something former Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger isn’t envious of, it is Jurgen Klopp taking the decision to leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

According to the former Gunners boss, the German may just about live to miss it if not regret once all is said and done.

Klopp’s decision to retire from Liverpool at the end of the season, was a shocker few saw coming this season, and has attracted a mother load of reaction from around the globe, with Arsene Wenger being the latest to chip in his own views on the former Borussia Dortmund manager’s decision.

Wenger stresses that the football life is one that does not leave a football manager once they have ventured into it.

Using himself as an example, the famed Frenchman said when asked if he regretted not retiring early;

“No. I would say I miss the intensity of this life. I was made to experience that because football was, and still is, so important to me. It looked normal to me. I could live with the pressure. The cardiologist would maybe say no to that!”

On the Liverpool manager leaving the Merseyside club at the end of the season, Arsene Wenger added;

“There’s a chance he will miss it. And regret it. When you miss it, it starts with regret.”
