There are growing whispers of EPL clubs plotting against Chelsea

Chelsea did Liverpool dirty in the current summer transfer window, and by the looks of it, the Blues are not ready to stop there even after landing Romeo Lavia from Southampton.

According to reports, the West-London side are plotting for 3 more signings to add on the back of landing Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo to their squad.

Reports already has Chelsea agreeing to a deal to bring in Crystal Palace midfielder, Michael Olise into its ranks after beating Premier League champions, Manchester City to a bid.

With talks of Financial Fair Play catching on the Blues, Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly has not slowed down on bringing in players despite splashing a British-record fee of £115 million on Moises Caicedo.

Meanwhile, with Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia set for a move to Stamford Bridge after snubbing Liverpool, Chelsea are ready for more players.

That’s according to The Athletic, who claim that Chelsea are keen to sign a new goalkeeper to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga who has joined Real Madrid on loan.

In addition to a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga, the Blues are after 2 more attackers.

A worrying topic however is that despite the absence of European Football revenue or shirt sponsor revenue, the club keeps operating in ways other premier league sides haven’t.

Their strategy is said to be “ruffling feathers” among other Premier League sides.

Based on a quote from the Sports publication;

“There are growing whispers of rival clubs complaining to the Premier League about their spending, the manifestation of a broader disbelief inside and outside the game that such outlay could possibly be compliant with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations, which allow clubs to lose around €90m over a three-year period.”
