“There Are A Lot Of Famous People Who Are Broke” – Deyemi Okanlawon

Nollywood actor, Deyemi Okanlawon has disclosed that most of those tagged celebrities and famous might not be financially buoyant as people supposed.

The actor, Deyemi Okanlawon, took to the microblogging platform, Twitter and stated that his colleagues should always aim for “highest earning” instead of “highest grossing” or “highest featured”.

He had tweeted;

”Not every time aim for HIGHEST GROSSING or HIGHEST FEATURED… more often reach for HIGHEST EARNING!”

Following a follower’s question about whether popularity brings money, Deyemi responded by saying that many renowned individuals are broke.

He added that while fame is a byproduct, it is work strategy and work ethics that brings money.

He tweeted;

”There are lots of famous broke ppl… fame is a byproduct, it’s the talent and the grind (work strategy and work ethic) that brings the bag.”

Meanwhile, in a video gaining reactions, the singer, Khalid, who had been away from home for weeks, thought not to return empty-handed to his wife and choice to cherish her in his own way.

In the video, Khaled can be seen shopping at a Birkin store while he captioned the post to honor his wife as “the best mother of his boys”.

He wrote:
