The World reacts to Jurgen Klopp leaving Liverpool

“I’m so glad, Jurgen is a Red!” the Liverpool fans would sing of their legendary manager, Jurgen Klopp, however with news breaking that their manager is set to depart the club this summer, it is all heartbreaking for the fans and the Premier League.
The German in his interview with the club’s official media team explained the reason behind his decision to confirm his exit from the club, but that hasn’t stopped the media and fans from around the world from reacting to the heartbreaking news.
Jurgen Klopp was appointed Liverpool manager after the sack of Brendan Rodgers from the club in October 2015, with the former Borussia Dortmund boss inspiring the Merseyside team to successive bouts of victories and achievements.
In his 9-plus years at the club, the 56-years-old has successfully led Liverpool to 3 successive Champions League finals, an Europa League final, mounted a challenge versus Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side on triple occasion while winning it once.
Jurgen Klopp also dominated the domestic cup competitions, winning a double in the 2021/22 season when Liverpool famously challenged for the quadruple till the final matchdays of the season, before losing the Premier League to Manchester City and the Champions League to Real Madrid.
On the global level, Klopp has won the Club World Cup for the Reds, currently being the only manager and the first in Liverpool’s history to win it for the club.
It is a sad day for Liverpool and its fans as Jurgen Klopp announces his resignation from the role as manager, and the world is here to react.
This news was always going to be a body blow to the club whenever it came.
I just thought it would be another few years away.

In the instance Xabi Alonso goes to Real Madrid or doesn’t come to Liverpool, who else would you see as a viable contender to be our next manager? 👇

Jurgen Klopp, the man who saved us when we were in free fall, risen the club to win everything and knew what the club meant. The man I loved everything about his charisma.

Don’t even know where to begin with this one. For once I’m lost for words. All I’ll say is that Jürgen Klopp is a better human being than he is a football manager – and that’s saying something in itself, because I think he’s the best football manager in the world. pic.twitter.com/Vt1UNTg3o6

Devastated about the Klopp news. What a man. What a manager. He brought me memories that I didn't think were achievable. An all time great Liverpool legend.
Only one man to take over for me. Xabi Alonso. 🇪🇸

Jürgen Klopp has earned the right to wave goodbye in his way, on his time, with his head and heart aligned. A man who tirelessly rebuilt a club, recharged a fanbase and represented the community. He gave people more than success: a shared experience, everlasting memories, belief
