The wage bill of Manchester United leaked

The staggering wage bill of Manchester United for the 2024/25 season has been leaked and it has left fans questioning the value of their underperforming stars.

Despite being one of the most expensively assembled squads in football history, Erik ten Hag’s side is yet to justify the investment. With a sluggish start to the new campaign and an embarrassing 3-0 defeat to Liverpool, the Red Devils are under pressure to turn things around.

The top earners at Old Trafford have now been revealed, with Casemiro leading the pack on an eye-popping £375,000 per week. The Brazilian midfielder, who arrived for £70 million in 2022, has struggled to make a consistent impact, and rumors of an exit to Galatasaray are swirling.

Captain Bruno Fernandes matches Casemiro’s weekly wage, while Marcus Rashford follows closely at £350,000, despite being linked with a move away after a challenging 2024.

What’s even more surprising is the inclusion of players like Mason Mount, who commands £250,000 per week despite managing just one goal since his high-profile move from Chelsea. Similarly, Antony, earning £200,000 per week, has barely featured this season and could be headed for a Turkish exit.

Rounding out the top 10 earners are Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire, Christian Eriksen, Luke Shaw, and Victor Lindelof, all raking in six-figure weekly sums. Notably absent from the list is Jadon Sancho, now on loan at Chelsea with a reported wage of £250,000 per week.

Fans took to social media to vent their frustration, with one user stating, “I don’t see any player deserving those wages, even Bruno doesn’t deserve 375k a week.” Another commented, “Looking at these wages and comparing the quality of players… it’s actually mind-blowing.”
