The True Face Of Ekiti Congratulates Fayemi; Tasks Him On Campaign Promises

A non partisan but socio political group in Ekiti called The True Face of Ekiti, (TFOE) has congratulated, Ekiti State Governor Elect Dr John Kayode Fayemi on his victory in the just concluded gubernatorial elections of 14th July 2018.
The group in a statement signed by the spokesperson, Sunday Osanyintuyi enjoined the Governor – elect to use this opportunity of a second term in office to unite the people and ensure developments across the state. “We most sincerely pray you not to renege on your promises to deliver on welfare to the 16 local governments’ areas of the State. It is important that you drive policies that will sustain our unity of purpose and maximize the homogeneous nature of our State.”  the statement reads in part.
The group charged the Fayemi to ensure delivery of his campaign promise of “Reclaiming our lands, Restoring our values”.
The group said Ekiti at this time needs a leader with a large heart that will change the negative narrative about the State. “Dr Kayode Fayemi should as a matter of priority ensure that the true nature of excellence that Ekiti men and women are known for is showcased to the world. Our Governor – elect should ensure impact full leadership that takes into consideration every aspect of constructive ideas and above all avoid the temptation of political revenge” Osanyintuyi added.
The TrueFace wishes that the Governor elect as a sign of appreciation reciprocates this uncommon opportunity of a second chance to apply the instruments of good governance over the next four years in a way that in the end, Ekiti will assume its rightful position in the comity of States.
The TrueFace urges all sons and daughters of Ekiti to be constructive in our support or criticism of the incoming administration so we can all contribute our quota to the success of our State under the leadership of Dr.  Kayode Fayemi as Governor”
