Sadio Mane and Liverpool have been on the news lately with the Senegalese’s reported exit from Liverpool.

Noise and debates have been made about it, with Bayern Munich having a reported interest in the star forward alongside the likes of other clubs like PSG, Barcelona and so on.

Now, it’s revealed that the reason Mane has opted to leave the Merseyside club is because the club had rejected his demands for a bumper pay.

The former Southampton man believes he is at the peak of his career, aged 30 and probably would want to cap off his career with a big pay rise before he hangs up the boot.

The forward is reported to be earning below the likes of Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Naby Keita, Trent Alexander Arnold and a few others as he earns a, average of £100, 000-per week wages for his efforts in the team.

It is revealed what wants would take him north of a £400,000 weekly wage, same as teammate Mohamed Salah is requesting from the club.

The Liverpool hierarchy didn’t budge and are ready to let the Senegalese go this summer if they would see a satisfying bid for the player.

Mane joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2016 and has gone on to become one of their best players, winning the Premier League, Champions League and a few other trophies.

Asked about Mane’s potential exit prior to the Final against Madrid, Klopp said:

“This is the wrong time to talk about that. Wherever Sadio will play next season he will be a big player, definitely. Sadio is in the shape of his life, for sure. (He is in) Brilliant shape, it is a joy to watch him.”
