“The Plans have not changed” — Mikel Arteta
North London side, Arsenal stand a chance to go top of the premier league table this weekend if all goes to their favor on Saturday and Sunday, however Mikel Arteta insists that it won’t change whatever summer plans the club has.
The Gunners have displayed an outstanding streak in the Premier League, triumphing in all seven matches of 2024 with an impressive aggregate score of 31-3.
From being the side criticized over not replicating their 2022/23 season form, the Gunners in 7-games have mounted themselves back to the premier league title race, with Mikel Arteta and his team only needing to play the waiting game if they beat Brentford on Saturday.
Mikel Arteta was able to address the media during a news conference on Thursday, affirming the club’s intentions moving forward, specifically in terms of a striker.
“The plans that we have for the summer are very clear,” he stated.
“They were formulated almost at the commencement of the season, taking into account various factors such as contract situations with certain players and areas of the team that require improvement. This current situation does not deviate from those plans.”
