The Nigerian Music Industry Is Dead - Samklef Spills

Popular Nigerian music producer, Samklef has weighed in concerning the rift surrounding the genre in the music industry in Nigeria.

Samklef went public with the claim that the music industry was dead.

His bash comes after Afrobeat singer, Wizkid took a swipe at rappers and those in the rap genre.
According to Wizkid, rap music is boring and dead.
Wizkid gathered quite a series of reactions which led to the release of a throwback moment the singer was trying out rap.
In the midst of this, Samklef stated that the international body now controls Afrobeats, and the country has already lost its great artists, Burna Boy and WizKid.

He added that the country’s music industry is now as local as it treats its celebrities.

In his words;

“Rip Nigeria industry.. international body don take over. U are now local just as u treat other celebrities way back.. Wizkidayo is gone, burna boy is gone. Other artists otilo. Pele Pele .

International body now controls afrobeats! None of this boys Dey attend the wicked industry awards. Nothing last forever. Karma is always by the corner. All those artists wey una treat bad una go need them one day. Una sabi blacklist artist now dem don blacklist una”
