The Media Tried to Sell Me Off to 2 Clubs—CR7 Reveals

CR7’s time in England and at Old Trafford even though he wouldn’t say it verbally to Piers Morgan obviously due to political reasons, was by far a disastrous love story, and one told by a media who wanted to control the narratives surrounding him.

The Manchester United forward man who still remains under contract with Manchester United, at least for now, asserted that the media tried all it could to foster a deal for him between Sporting Lisbon and Napoli in the summer which ironically even his agent wasn’t aware of.

Ronaldo claimed that while there weren’t many clubs attempting to sign him, he did receive numerous offers.

The 37-year-old was anxious to depart from United so he could compete in the Champions League this year.

He ultimately decided to remain at Old Trafford, and he insisted that he was “glad” to do so.

It of course would sound hilarious for CR7 and his agent seeing as despite no negotiations taking place between them and Napoli or Lisbon, the media continued to negotiate deals on his behalf between both clubs.

“They [the media] even offered me to Sporting [Lisbon] or Napoli. I will be honest with you, I didn’t have many, many clubs but I have many, many offers of the other clubs.

“And I was happy here [at United] to be honest. I was motivated to do a great season here. But they continue to repeat that nobody wants Cristiano,” Ronaldo said on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Obviously, at the moment, CR7 is taking over control of the narrative from the media to set the story straight ahead of the world cup and post the world cup tournament. Whichever sides come out top in the story is left at the moment to imagination.
