I Honestly Don’t Know What Comes Next Now—Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United owners, the Glazers have had their own fair share of criticisms in recent times from different Sports personalities but it was nothing compared to Cristiano Ronaldo taking the club to the cleaners and calling them money grubbers milking Man United for the money.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a forward for Manchester United, has criticized the club’s owners, the Glazers, saying they “do not care” about the team.

The Portuguese criticized the club management and manager Erik ten Hag in the same interview, claiming they were mismanaging the team and taking the incorrect course of action.

According to reports, Manchester United has already paid the football legend’s £1 million fine—equivalent to two weeks’ worth of pay—and they may even be considering terminating his contract.

Ronaldo stated that he thinks the Glazers are more concerned with financial gain than on-field success.

“The owners of the club, the Glazers, they don’t care about the club. I mean, professional sports,” Ronaldo said.

“As you know, Manchester is a marketing club, they will get money from the marketing. The sports they don’t really care about, in my opinion,” he said.

When Piers Morgan pressed Ronaldo more about whether he had ever communicated with the club’s owners following his return to Old Trafford, Ronaldo responded, “Never. They give all the power to the presidents [board members], sporting director.”
