The Glazers have agreed to sell Manchester United

Manchester United owners, the Glazers have accepted the bid of Qatari banker, Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad’s £6billion bid for the club.
The report comes courtesy of British publication, the UK Sun.
This follows a lengthy negotiation between both parties that has seen moves for the club’s purchase dragged out for over nine months, with the club’s fanbase growing ever worried about the negotiations collapsing.
In November 2022, the Glazers opened up about trying to explore other strategic alternatives, raising doubts over the club’s sale.
The bidding process ultimately came down to two options and two bids; the Qatari backed Sheikh Jassim and Manchester United fan and Ineos founder, Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
The Glazers have been weighing up the two offers, with Ratcliffe’s bid favored by Joel and Avram Glazer, as it intended to allow them retain their shares.
However, the Sheikh kept increasing his offer to cajole the Glazers to part ways with the club in a full scale sale.
If the sale comes to fruition, the family’s controversial 18-year reign at Old Trafford will be over.
