The 2 biggest clubs in the World—Florentino Perez brags

Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez would not take the Barcelona slander as he states the Catalan club remains one of the 2 biggest clubs in world football.

The Los Blancos chief addressed this while defending Barcelona over its activities in the summer transfer window, while rubbishing claims of the institution being dead.

According to Florentino Perez, the Catalan club and Real Madrid remain the most important football institutions in the world despite recent issues.

This comes due to the fact that while some Barcelona players are rejecting deals to step away from the Camp Nou, other players from rival clubs desire playing for the Catalans despite its financial woes.

This according to Perez while speaking to MovieStar after the recent victory of Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday, believes is due to Barcelona being the biggest club in the world like Real Madrid.

He said:

“Barça…there are seasons that we all do better or worse but Barça is one of the most important institutions in the world, along with Madrid.

“It has to return to being what it is and that is good for everyone, for world soccer”.

Admitting that the coming season is going to be yet a tough one, Florentino Perez knows the Los Blancos cannot win it all, but does not denounce the team and the club making an attempt to.

“We can’t win everything all our lives, but we will work to continue giving satisfaction to our fans, we are in an optimal situation.” He said.
