Ten Hag vs. Sancho: “We are United here” — Erik ten Hag

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has dismissed claims of there been trouble in the Manchester United dressing room, debunking earlier rumors of a certain faction of the squad growing frustrated with his criticisms in the press.

Speaking to journalists earlier in his pre-match press conference, the Dutchman said;

“Trust me… in the dressing room but also all the staff, coaches, medical… here everyone is united,

“Here at Manchester United you fight. Leaks? I know my players and the only thing is to win every single game.”

However, speaking on his relationship with out of favor player, Jadon Sancho, the former Ajax manager said it is up to the England international to resolve whatever conflict allegedly resides between them, confirming the former Borussia Dortmund star will be absent from the squad facing Burnley on Saturday.

“Jadon Sancho will NOT be in our squad tomorrow,” Erik ten Hag confirms,

“It depends on him. For the rest, we are preparing for Burnley and that’s our focus — nothing else.”
