Teenager assumed dead wakes up during burial

A cemetery gathering got the shock of their life when a teenage girl presumed dead woke up during her burial in Warri, Delta State.

The New Telegraph reported that the girl took some concoction which made her fall into a deep sleep. She was suspected to be pregnant before taking the substance.

Report says that the girl who was suspected to be pregnant took some concoction before she went into a ‘deep sleep’. An anonymous source who witnessed the incident said, “Most of the people gathered there were youths, including her parents.

“We all saw her completely naked and presumed that she had died at about 5a.m. on Tuesday, so her people wrapped her in mat and we all headed for the cemetery.

“When we got to the cemetery, the workers there dug the grave for her burial.

“As the remains were laid into the grave and they were about covering it with sand, the deceased sneezed and jumped out of the grave and started shouting.

“We all ran out of fear but the girl was immediately rushed to Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Effurun, near Warri for spiritual cleansing.”

According to reports, the police have declined to give a comment about the incidence, insisting that it wasn’t a police affair.
