Tanimu Samari Aduda- Buhari send condolence to the family
President Muhammadu Buhari has sympathized with the family of Sen. Aduda on the passing of their father, Tanimu Samari Aduda, after a brief illness.
The president, in a condolence message released by his spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina, on Wednesday in Abuja, commiserated with the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion in the Federal Capital Territory, especially the Diocese of Gwagwalada, on the transition to glory of its pioneer Bishop.
The president noted that the deceased devoted his life to contributing to the spiritual well-being of the members of the Church.
Buhari particularly extended condolences to Sen. Philip Aduda, representing the Federal Capital Territory in the Senate, as well as Gabriel Aduda, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He urged them to uphold and surpass the legacies of their father in their services to God, country and humanity.
The president prayed for the repose of the soul of the late Bishop, asking for strength for the family and those mourning him at this time.
It was gathered that the late Rev. Aduda was the Anglican Bishop of the Gwagwalada Dioceses in Abuja.
Philips Tanimu Aduda is a Nigerian politician. He served two terms in the Nigerian House of Representatives between 2003 and 2011, and was elected to the Senate for the Abuja Federal Capital Territory in the 9 April 2011 elections, running on the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ticket.
