‘TAMPAN supports child molestation’ – Mr Macaroni, Fans blow hot over Iyabo Ojo, Nkechi Blessing’s ban

Fans of actress, Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing have reacted to their suspension from Nollywood by Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN).

This comes after veteran actor, Jide Kosoko disclosed during a press briefing in Lagos on Saturday, June 26 that Nkechi Blessing and Iyabo Ojo are not members of Tampan and as such cannot be suspended.  However, if as practitioners they engage in activities that drag the name of the union to mud, the union will work against them.

The association, during a press briefing, said it would not entertain any form of disrespect by both actresses who tried to drag the association in the mud. Speaking at the briefing, member board of trustee, Prince Jide Kosoko said the association is aware of the derogatory statements made by Iyabo Ojo against the Association and the industry as a whole noting that will not take further insults.

In a viral video, Mr. Latin, Jide Kosoko and a few others were seen warning movie producers not to work with Nkechi and Iyabo because of their suspension from the Movie Industry.

The video which was from a press briefing in Lagos on Saturday, June 26, the association of moviemakers (tampan) said it would not entertain any form of disrespect by both actresses who tried to drag the association in the mud.

Jide Kosoko in his speech revealed that neither Nkechi Blessing nor Iyabo Ojo is members of Tampan and as such cannot be suspended. However, if as practitioners they engage in activities that drag the name of the union to mud, the union will work against them.

Meanwhile, popular comic actor and human activist, Debo Adebayo, known by his stage name Mr Macaroni has also reacted to Iyabo Ojo’s ban from Nollywood.

Taking to Twitter to react to this, Mr Macaroni expressed his shock at the decision to ban Iyabo Ojo a few hours after Baba Ijesha was granted bail.
