The residents confirmed that Security operatives were alerted, and they went to the farm on Tuesday to pick up the deceased farmer, which was taken to a mortuary.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, has confirmed the incident to newsmen in a terse statement on Tuesday.
