Suspect Detained Over Land Speculations
Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) on Tuesday said it’s investigating one Musa Salihu Ahmed, the Chief Executive, Lamash Property over alleged land speculations.
The Chairman of the Anti- Graft Agency, Muhuyi Magaji-Rimingado Esq told Reporters in Kano that the suspect who is already in custody allegedly sold 632 residential plot to several individuals worth N2.3billion.
He explained that the suspect, a Chief Executive of Lamash Property, sold the plots at about N2.5 million to individuals in Challawa of Kumbotso local government area of the state.Rimingado further revealed that the suspect also sold assorted residential plots at Dawanau, in Dawakin Tofa local government area of the state.
The Chairman disclosed that the suspect was picked at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport shortly after he arrived from Saudi Arabia.Mr. Rimingado said “We are currently investigating the suspect, how he was allocated 632 residential plots by the past administration and how it was allegedly sold to different individuals in the state”.
The Chairman further assured that soon as investigation is completed the suspect would be arraigned before a court of law.
