Police establish conspiracy in Super TV CEO murder, arrest more suspects

Chidinma Ojukwu maintains her innocence in court over the alleged murder charge of Super TV Chief Executive Officer, Usifo Ataga.

Chidinma, 22 year old and 300-level Mass Communication student of the University of Lagos, has pleaded not guilty to the crime on Tuesday.

Chidinma has been arraigned alongside one Adedapo Quadri as the principal suspects of the murder before Justice Yetunde Adesanya of the Lagos State High Court sitting at the Tafawa Balewa Square.

They pair both pleaded not guilty to the eight counts bordering on the offences of murder, forgery and stealing.

Chidinma’s sister, Egbuchu Chioma from whom the late Ataga’s iPhone 7, was said to have been recovered also pleaded not guilty to the 9th count of being in possession of the stolen property.

They are being prosecuted by the Lagos State Department of Public Prosecution, Mrs Olayinka Adeyemi.
