Super Frankie is a Man garnering pity at the moment

Talk about a man handling the hardest job in the footballing world right now, it’s Everton manager, Frank Lampard or as fans popularly dubbed him, Super Frankie.

The former Chelsea player and manager took on an Everton side last season who had a very poor run of form that culminated in a relegation tussle for the Merseyside blues.

But fortunately, Super Frankie was able to turn things around to secure a Premier League stay before the final game of the season.

The battle led a lot of football analysts and fans to have some shred of pity for the Chelsea legend as roughly everything went against the Englishman.

Now, with the poor result in the club’s latest preseason game, losing 4-0 to Major League Soccer side Minnesota United on Thursday, it appears another poor run of form may follow Everton again.

This has brought legendary manager, Neil Warnock to express his empathetic feelings for the former English international.

He, however notes that the Chelsea legend must now take responsibility after the Toffees were defeated 4-0 by Minnesota United on Thursday morning.

After the game, Lampard had slammed his stars, claiming his players did not show the fight that they wanted to ‘play in the team’.

Super Frankie condemned the drab display and believes the performance had given him ‘a lot to think about’.

“I don’t like listening to the words that Frank’s saying at the minute,” Warnock told talkSport.

“Last year, I felt a bit sorry for him if I’m honest. I didn’t think it was a job for a young man and he’s done well but he’s not had many disappointments in his career and you’ve got to learn from them.

“You’ve still got to organize your side and you can’t tell me the side he had out couldn’t have done better.”
