Super Eagles' Kelechi Iheanacho linked with Crystal Palace

Nigeria Super Eagles star, Kelechi Iheanacho has been linked with a return to the premier league, with London club, Crystal Palace reportedly interested in landing his signature.

The news comes courtesy of The Sun, with the report stating that Crystal Palace has established talks with Iheanacho’s current club, Leicester City who are currently battling Championship action.

Kelechi Iheanacho currently has one-year left in his current contract with the club, with the Nigerian holding out on signing any contract extension with the club.

The 27-year-old was previously linked with a reunion with Alex Iwobi as Premier League club, Everton reportedly held interest in signing the Leicester City star.

Kelechi Iheanacho played a pivotal role for Leicester City last season despite the Foxes’ eventual relegation from the premier league, with the Super Eagles star holding the record as the club’s top scorer in the campaign.

After joining the Foxes from Manchester City in 2019, Kelechi Iheanacho’s Leicester City career might be coming to an end if a move to Crystal Palace materializes.
