Popular Yoruba freedom fighter, Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho is set to visit the hometown of Nigeria’s Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed in Kwara State.
The purpose of the visit is the Yoruba nation, self-determination peaceful mega rally.
Igboho spokesperson, Olayomi Koiki took to social media to make the announcement through a flier with the caption:
“Lai Mohammed expect us soon in your local government for our peaceful rally coming soon.
ÒRÒ local government Kwara state”.
Oro LGA is were the minister of information hails from.
Leader of the Ilana Omo Oodua, Banji Akintoye, will also grace the rally that is scheduled to hold Sunday, May 9.
Topnaija recalls that some yet-to-identified people again attempted to attack Igboho at his Soka residence, Ibadan, in Oyo state.
The attackers stormed the house around 1:30 am and attempted to set it ablaze but they were resisted by the vigilant security aides of Igboho.
Koiki, on his Facebook page said the gunmen invaded the home of Sunday Igboho located at Soka area of Ibadan in the early hours of Monday.
Some residents of the area said they were praying earnestly while the gunshots were being fired.
Though, one of the spokespersons alleged that the gunmen were from government, there was nothing to prove this claim.
Koiki warned that if the security agents did not leave his boss alone, it might be the beginning of the problem that the government was waiting for.
