Street Hawker rewarded after gifting Prisoners Sausage Roll in Lagos traffic

A lovely Brand in sausage rolls and beverage drinks in Nigeria on Thursday established one of its numerous street hawkers in Lagos by opening a branded Rite Foods Store for him at no 181, Bamgbose Street, Lagos Island and furnished it with Deep Freezer, Generating set, Ceiling fans, Stabilizer,100 cartons of Bigi and Rite sausage rolls, 100 cases of its Bigi beverages and Fearless Energy Drinks among other numerous items. The Company paid rent of two years with effect from March 2019 to 2021.

Joseph Adesewo, Regional Sales Manager who represented Seleem Adegunwa, Managing Director of Rite Foods Limited made it known during the formal opening of Ugochukwu Iberestore that his good deed has earned him an all expenses paid store by Rite Foods Limited.

Adesewo said that apart from Ibere’s act of kindness “Our Company is passionate about Corporate Social Responsibility-CSR because its a way of giving back to the Society for the acceptance and patronage given to our products.

He reiterated that Ugochukwu Ibere 27 years old, a native of Ebonyi State got this reward for rendering selfless service to prisoners in Lagos traffic due to his bad experience as an apprentice.

It would be recalled that Ibere was discovered by one Adenike Ajitena a Banker and a Lawyer in traffic and his story with pictures went viral on Social Media where he was discovered by Rite Foods Limited.
