One of Nigeria’s national commercial banks, Sterling Bank Plc has offered to partner with Cynthia Morgan, a Nigerian singer, for its ‘One Bank’ campaign.

The bank took to its social media page on Monday to announce its willingness to work with the songwriter — barely a day after she had provoked reactions on social media after baring details of her feud with Jude Okoye, CEO of Northside Entertainment, her former label.

In a post on Twitter, Sterling Bank said it had followed the 28-year-old Afropop singer’s story. It added that it would like to work with her for its campaign.

“Hey Cynthia Morgan, we have followed your story and believe there is a bright future ahead of you. We would like to work with you on our ONE BANK campaign. Please get in touch by direct message (DM),” the bank wrote.

The development comes against the backdrop of what has been a rough ride for the singer’s music career. Morgan had left tongues wagging following her protracted hiatus from the music scene.

In 2018, the singer, however, announced a rebrand that saw her changed her stage name to Madrina.

In spite of the move, Morgan seemed unable to find her balance, going a long stretch without producing any music — a development that has raised concerns among her fans and followers.
