Stephen King Heated Exchange With Dan Bongino Goes Viral

Best-selling author Stephen King has reportedly engaged in a heated exchange with US commentator Dan Bongino on Twitter.

The incident reportedly began when Bongino criticized King for his support of President Joe Biden, calling the author a “leftist hack” and claiming that he was “destroying his legacy” by getting involved in politics.

In response, King fired back, writing, “Dan, I’m not destroying my legacy. You are. Look at your own legacy, man. You’ve sold out to a con man who doesn’t care about anything except feeding his insatiable ego. How sad.”

Bongino continued to argue with King, accusing him of being “out of touch” and claiming that he was “worshipping at the altar of political correctness.”

King didn’t back down, however, responding, “I worship nothing and no one except the idea of a fair shake for everyone, not just those born with money or into power. I’m not out of touch. I pay attention to people like you, Dan, and I’m worried about the direction this country is headed.”

The exchange between King and Bongino quickly went viral, with many social media users praising the author for his outspokenness and willingness to stand up for his beliefs.
