Despite coming a little later than expected, Solange Knowles has released her fourth studio album ‘When I Get Home’.

The singer-songwriter began teasing the effort, titled When I Get Home, since the fall of 2018, informing that the project was in the final stages and set to drop before the year ended.

“There is a lot of jazz at the core,” she told T Magazine about the project last October. “But with electronic and hip-hop drum and bass because I want it to bang and make your trunk rattle.”

Fans were however disappointed as 2019 rolled around with no album in sight and no indications as to when it would arrive.

But things changed this week, when Solange, 33 randomly directed fans to her page on BlackPlanet On Thursday, sharing the cover art for the album and confirmed it would hit streaming services at midnight Friday.

The album with 19 tracks which now available on streaming platforms has guest contributions by Playboi Carti, Panda Bear, Devin the Dude, The-Dream, and Tyler, the Creator, as well as samples from actress Phylicia Rashad, poet Pat Parker, Scarface, and more.
