Sokoto Speaker Aminu, defects to PDP

Speaker of Sokoto State House of Assembly, Aminu Muhammad Achida has dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) to join People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Achida, during a plenary session on Thursday April 14, presented his letter of defection to the Assembly.

Another member of the state House of Assembly, Murtala Bello Maigona, representative of Wammako 2 Constituency, has also dumped APC for PDP.
