ABOUT
CDQ, is a Nigerian indigenous hip-hop rapper and songwriter best known for his single “Nowo E Soke” featuring Wizkid and Masterkraft’s Indomie where he was featured alongside Olamide.
EARLY LIFE
CDQ, was born on the 6th of May, 1985 in Orile, Lagos State. He is a native of Ilorin, Kwara State.

Most of his early days were spent in Kwara State, so he had to move back to Lagos State, after completing his secondary education. He then proceeded into music and began to attend contests and concerts, where he showcased his skills.
EDUCATION
He had his primary and secondary school in Ilorin, Kwara State. After his Secondary and primary school Education, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics at Lagos state university.
CAREER
CDQ has been in the game as far back in the year 2002, he began professional music in 2008 as a backup singer for Da-Grin, this happened while he was still very much in school “Lagos State”. After that, he did some backup rapping for MI as well as DJ Jimmy Jatt and Wizkid.

In 2012, he attended a show at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos, where he won the rap battle organized that night. This was a huge event that was instrumental to his decision to take his music beyond acting as a backup singer.

In 2013, he signed a recording contract with Mastercrafts’s General records, and also In 2014, he released his breakthrough single titled “Indomie” which featured vocals from Olamide while the remix of the song featured Davido. At this point, CDQ net worth had started to grow.

Although CDQ is not currently one of the “Best Rapper in Nigeria” but he has a whole vibes.

The Mastercraft-produced song brought CDQ’s career to limelight and further earned him two nomination spots at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and a nomination in the Best Street-Hop Artist category at the Headies 2015.

While working on his debut album, he enlisted the help of Wizkid, and together they made the hit single of his album, “Nowo E Soke”.

The music video for the song was directed by Unlimited L. A and went on to win the Best Afro Hip Hop Video category at the 2016 edition of the Nigeria Music Video Awards.

On 16th August, 2016, he released the covert art for his album and later that year, released the album totally. It was titled “Quality”.

On 11th November, 2016, he launched his own record label N.S.N.S, having in full as No Struggle No Success Entertainment.

On 1st February, 2017, he dropped his first official single under the platform titled “Say Baba” which was produced by Jay Pizzle.
FAMILY
CDQ, is a first child of the family of 3. His other siblings are not disclosed on socials yet. If it has, we would update immediately.
PERSONAL LIFE
CDQ is a musician Rapper has come with a lot of potentials and talents.

He said “In whatever thing you desire to acquire, you must first believe you can do it”. CDQ believed in himself, though there were not enough resources to actualize his passion, but he believed he is up to the task.
ACHIEVEMENT
2015, he was Nominated for Best artiste to watch and best collaboration of the year at Nigerian Entertainment Awards, and also Nominated for Best street Hip Hop artiste at the Headies Awards.

2016, he was Nomianted for Best Hip hop artist at Soundcity Movie awards and Won Best Afro hip hop videos “Nowo E Soke” at Nigerian Music videos awards.

2017, he won the Best street Hop artiste at Ghana Naija showbiz awards. And he was Nominated for Next superstar on the Roll at the Ghana Naija Showbiz award.
